Frequently asked questions
Not early. The praline and pear do the first three hours on their own; agarwood only comes up from hour six and it arrives dry rather than smoky. Most people read it as a dessert for half a day and a wood after that.
A little, and deliberately. Iris and orange blossom sit cold over the praline, which is what keeps the sugar from feeling heavy. It reads powdery on the wrist for the first hour and much less so after that.
It is built from the same note structure but weighted toward oud, praline and tonka — the base is heavier and the drydown lasts considerably longer. It is an interpretation blended in our own atelier, not a decant.
